What's On at the Moment in CHW Churches?
Sunday Breakfast
On the first Sunday of every month, Sunday Breakfast is held at Henton Village Hall.
This is an event all ages, with a tasty free breakfast with hot drinks. Arrive between 9am and 9:30am.
There's a short talk, a prayer, and an optional quiz. There is also activities and crafts for children.
This is a great monthly event to attend, and new people and families are always welcome to come along.
Inspire (Informal Service)
On the second Sunday of every month, St Matthew's Wookey is home to 'Inspire' - an informal morning worship service.
This is a service for all ages, and there is space in the church for children to play and be creative. The more relaxed nature of the service makes it perfect if you're new to church, as there's less 'rules' and an relaxed atmosphere. Plus there's tea and coffee after the service.
There's wonderful music, and the songs are easy to pick up, and the words are shown on the projector screen at the front of the church, or from hymn books

On the fourth Sunday of every month, Sunday Brunch is held at Christ Church Coxley.
This is an event all ages, with a tasty free brunchwith hot drinks.
There's a short talk, a prayer, and an optional quiz. There is also activities and crafts for children.
This is a great monthly event to attend, and new people and families are always welcome to come along.
Midweek Services
There are opportunities at start of every week to attend a prayer service or a short Holy Communion service.
We know that for some people there is a lot going on at the weekend, and it might not be possible to attend church on Sundays. For other people the week seems long, and they want something spiritual to focus on during the week.
Prayer meetings are informal and are a great opportunity to pray for the world, the Church and individuals known to us. Everyone is welcome to attend even if you don't live in the village, and these services usually last 30-45 minutes.
The Holy Communion service is a short service without singing. The words are all printed in the service booklet, so it's easy to follow. It's usually 45 minutes long.

Coxley Community Cafe
Every Thursday (2:30-4pm) there is a Community Cafe held at Christ Church Coxley, inside in the warmth of the church, or in the summer months outside of the church in the sun and fresh air.
This is for all of the community of Coxley to enjoy, and also for the communities across the benefice.
It's a chance to have a hot drink and a good chat in an relaxed setting and have a chat. Or bring along a book, game or craft activity to enjoy. You are very welcome to come along any time between 2:30pm and 4pm.
