The Pre-Raphaelites were a group of artists founded in 1848. They wanted paintings to be imaginative and realistic, while often containing symbolism. Many of their paintings remain popular and well-known. During this short course we’ll look at four Pre-Raphaelite paintings, exploring their messages about faith and our response.
